I won't be doing this anytime soon, but if I did, this is the route I'd go.

I'd pick up something like these. I wouldn't spend a lot, $4k or less, preferably $3k or less, that leaves money for a dedicated trailer (just leave all your track stuff in it (gear, stands, tools, etc.) then just pack it up and go on track days....

Anyone else? Thoughts?
Obviously these links are from the other thread, I'd look local, check with the guys riding track now, as they are usually looking to get something new, we have two guys right now selling theirs....

yup, if you check out some racing forums, they always have some tasty bikes for sale that are race/track ready, and the best part is they're usually honest - they say if the bike has been down and what damage they fixed etc..
