Installed my throttlemeister the other day. the install was pretty easy. take the stock bar ends off and put the new ones back on. little locktight and its that simple. I did some riding today, mostly highway to test the throttle lock out and it does a good job and keeps the throttle where you leave it. :steve:
once in the locked position you can still move the throttle around, the locking mechanism just prevents the throttle from snapping back into place so its like having a manual throttle when the throttlemeister is engaged. with the throttlemeister disengaged the throttle grip moves naturally as if the stock bar ends were still on.
i took the red stripe that came on the bar ends off (which explains why mine look completely chrome) and i plan to paint the crevices yellow or put some tape in there to complete the project. they came in at a total of 123 shipped from compacc.com (link below).
