One of the throttle cables going out of the handlebar will have an adjustment nut. Loosen the lock nut, and turn the adjuster out to remove slack. Start the bike and make sure that when you turn the handle bars side to side, the engine does not rise in RPM's. I usually leave a slight amount of play in the throttle, maybe a mm or two. If ok, then tighten the lock nut.

Mine worked it's way loose soon after I purchased the bike, so I doubt the lock nut is very tight from the factory.
