No argument Rabbit, but I figure im so busy concentrating on other drivers to predict what they are going to do, as well as watch the road for rocks, sand etc. that I don't need to waste limited brain power trying to keep track of what gear im in
however if it doesn't work when you put the clutch in it or are stopped it wouldn't solve my problem anyway.

Yeah that's the one I got (Gi-pro) about best use for it is so I never try to upshift to 7th

pretty sure by now I have a 7th gear,every day for over 4 months...

I do have that problem as well LOL, but usually only when in that light traffic that your having to shift down and then back up, but it doesn't irritate me as much as trying to start from a stop light in 2nd gear. The gi pro thing looks like a pain the butt to hook up to having to take the tank off. I guess like Rabitt said ill just try and be smarter and remember. however I suggest they just put one in the next years model, probably cost them $10
