Hey guys. Yamaha newbie here. Bought a new 2014 FZ6R about a month ago and put 1k miles on it since. It's my third bike, first being a ninja 250, second an FZR 1000, and this is my first brand new vehicle. Hoping to get some good ideas in how to make the bike better
well the bike doesn't have a huge amount of aftermarket stuff to make performance better other than an exhaust upgrade and fuel controller
the other part you can im prove are your riding skills seams to be the one thing most bikers forget.
anyhow congrats on the purchase welcome to the club!
May not be a ton of performance mods but there are other mods galore for this bike, you will see them all over this site. Most popular first ones are frame sliders, mirrors, fender eliminator, flush mount turn signals. For me the best mod i did was the custom seat.
Anyway welcome to the forum, so cal is a great place to have a bike. been up ACH yet or mulholland? 3rd bike you probably already have good gear so just welcome and be safe.
