Smokin' out on the commute...???

I never realized how many cars are totally smokin' out on the commute until I started riding a motorcycle... you can smell everything through the helmet.

And I mean they are just about completely baked... I get a major contact high from just passing them, even on the way INTO work in the morning, but especially on the way home.

Any one else have the same experience?

He'll yea! Every day. But I always look down at my bike to make sure it's not me. Just a habit.

That's why I wear one of these on the commute. Its not Snell, but you can't have everything.

I've noticed I can smell food from restaurants if I ride past and I'm a little bit hungry. I find myself checking which side the exhaust pipe is on for the car in front when I pull up at lights, then I get on the other side to the exhaust.

Sometimes you can feel warm spots on the road, especially if there's a rock wall facing west and its only just gone dark.
