no commercials

I'm a radio snob and hate commercials. Got a free subscription to XM on a new car few years ago and got totally hooked. I'm used to good community/university radio and now play it constantly online when at my computer.

Frankly, I don't really like making playlists like I used to like making CDs and cassette tapes before that. So, when I'm in my car, I really like to listen to XM now Sirius. I also find that when I just rely on my own music, I tend to use the same songs over and over then want to delete the playlist so I won't have to listen to the same songs over and over. I get bored easily, can't even listen to one artist for more than 3 songs in a row.

If I really started touring on the motorcycle, I'd get a receiver for my bike. As of now, it is an expense I can do without.

xm/Sirius is just as repetitive as fm radio. listen to it long enough and you'll see that it's the same 20 songs/channel all day every day. save your pennies.

I've been using XM for over 10 years. Still got the Raody2 in the car. At home I'm hooked on Pandora. Ipod on the dock everyday at work and home... can't live without it!
