seal of aluminum sprockets

Hey Guys,

People have said in this forum to buy driven sprockets. But these are aluminum. From looking online, steel sprockets seams more durable.

Does anyone know what type are the stock sprockets of yamaha ?

Steel sprocket are better but there's not a big selection available for the 6R. I put 10K on my 38T very easy. You need to get the one that is all coated (forgot the name) I'm using the Vortex...

but I am not sure what the difference is between brands that claim their sprocket is made out of steal, and this one which claims to be light steel.

Those are really nice! I wish they were making them in 44T. That's the only reason why I went aluminum. But if you want to run +1 front only or stock ratio this is the way to go.

Lightened steel. They drill holes in it :thumbup:
