Right side footpeg nipple

Hey peeps!

The nipple from my right footpeg went missing somewhere along the line (before I took over) and I want to replace it. However, I'm struggling to pin down the part. I contacted a Yamaha dealer and they sent me the exploded parts diagram. I've attached the diagram here - the two peg nipples are parts 19 and 44. They say the part number is the same for both, but the part they supplied only fits on the left and is too big for the right.

Anybody have any experience with this?

They're "feelers", both are part number 90109-08204-00.The exploded parts diagram is at bikebandit.com (other places as well). If it fits one side and not the other, maybe the foot peg itself is not the correct one for the bike?

Yeah, it definitely doesn't fit on both sides. I checked the bottom of both footpegs and there are part numbers on them designated for right hand side and left hand side, so seems correct! Very confusing.
