Riding on dirt roads

Hi guys, Just got back from a two day ride with experienced club riders. We rode around 500 k's (300 miles) a day and most was at higher speeds ;). I was really impressed with these guys relaxed style and high skill levels, most were veteran riders. My only concern was that they like to throw in a little bit of dirt roads.

After coming off the dirt the real wheel was very slippery and took a long time to feel sticky on the road again. I have high quality sports tyres on the bike. I'm wondering if this is likely to damage our bikes. Could it, for instance, mess with the wheel alignment.

I've cleaned and lubed the chain, but the real wheel feels like it is tracking differently then before. Any thoughts
ps I'm talking probably only around 15k's in total of dirt
