Reality check

Cruising around today and basically just loafin and I round a corner and ..… reality check. A fellow on his Harley had missed a curve, and gone over an embankment. As I sat there watching the medical team get him back up the highway and into the helicopter I saw first hand what a wondering mind can cause. Hope he recovers.

Yeah, that stuff is crazy.. I unfortunately often find my eyes, and attention wander off the road... till I pass or hear about stuff like this then im good for a hour or two..

Had a close call a week ago. I was following my parents in their car somewhere. The coast was clear so my dad started rolling, then for no reason slammed on his brakes. I stopped too late, hit their back passenger tail light, and went over. Caught the bike about a foot off the ground and tugged her fat-*** back up. Just a scuff and popped out the plastic pins around my gauges. Could have been a lot worse. Gotta focus ALL the time on a bike.
