hey everyone, just thought i would post a few photos of my recent mod. as the title kinda says, i now have R6 swingarm spool sliders on my 6R. will admit not the easiest way of getting spools on the 6R swingarm, but i like the ability to use any spool for an R6.
if there is an interest i can write a more detailed DIY, though i figured the required access to welding would limit to a select group.
anyway, on to the pics. Essentially i welded a piece of 5/8s inch steel rod to the bottom of my swingarm and drilled/ tapped this piece for R6 spools M6-1.00 thread. and yes, these work with a stand designed for spools.
