question about my new bike

I just bought my 09 fz6r last week and so far I love it!
I'm new to this site so I'm sorry if Im in the wrong spot but.
I just bought cortech sport tribags and am having problems finding where to mount them on the left side? The instructions just say find a mounting spot, but the only place is at the footpeg.
Does anybody else have these bags, and if so, are there any threads or pics on this subject?

No doubt that having a mount rack makes it easier, but the Cortech bags can be secured without any additional "bars." I ran some smallish bungy cords through the backing of the license plate bracket (sorry no pics since I now have a top case with rack), and I secured the "back" straps to the bungies. Worked well and was solidly secure.
Should be able to secure each side the same...straps by each passenger peg and plate mount bungy option for the rear straps.

That is an actual passenger seat, but without the pleather and foam, just the plastic backing. I only use that when going camping... nice thing to have but not a necessity, I can strap my gear to the original back seat without any problems.
