Long time member and reader (Forgot my old account details)

Anyways, I've got one that i'm hoping some of you will be able to help with.

When ever the revs are getting to 7 or 8 K the bike now becomes very whiny and alot more vibration then it used to too. I'm also sure the revs are getting to 12 and 13k alot faster.

The bike also seems to have problems with staying cool, the bike seems to get to 100c and stay around there alot more often.

Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like the bike is breaking in and staying at operating temp. I run my bike in the 6-10k range all the time. Temps are usually around 190-200f constantly. Wouldn't worry about the whiny noise. Every I4 motored bike I've owned had a "whiny" part of the rpm range.
