Has anyone ever tried these mirrors before?
They're non adjustable, which kind of worries me, but they are convex curved so they should offer a good range of vision.

The good thing about them is that you can link up your turn signals to them as well (LED lights on the top).

PIG SPOTTER MIRRORS: UNIVERSAL

The only thing holding me back is where they would be located on the fairing. Not certain if the odd slope/tilt on the fairing would render the mirrors useless...

Thanks in advance!

I believe someone tried them out and couldn't see sh!t with them. And then on the first ride they fell apart. I would stay away from anything that is non-adjustable. Even the aftermarket ones that are adjustable, still don't give a good reward picture.

Here is a link about them.

I have yet to see any decent mirrors come out for the fz6r.. I am almost thinking about capping them off and getting some that attach to the handle bar itself..

edit: I liked the Trojan mirrors (IIRC that is the name) but I heard some bad reviews about them falling apart as well...

Has anyone tried the XJ6 mirrors? They look nice and they are mounted on the handlebars.

are there any mirrors from other models that will fit fz's like the r6 or r1? all they meed is the same mounting bolt/screw locatoin right?

Mirrors

I know there are mirror threads on here but none of them talk about the pig spotter type. Does anyone have em on their bike? If so I'd like to see pics, and a review of what you think of em. I can't decide if I want those type of mirrors or something different. Thanks

I'm new to the forums, been riding now for 2 years.

Thanks I keep forgeting you can search for older threads

haha yeah, this thread just confused the shit out of me :D. Thread merge... I got it now ;)

I had pig spotter mirrors on my R6. The only thing I could see was if a vehicle came to my blind spots... These mirrors look good, but are not safe at all.
One day in front of my apartment complex, when I was turning into the complex, I heard a loud screech inches behind me... The guy wasnt concentrating on the road, but I could see him either and almost hit me from behind. That day I took off my pig spotter mirrors and got better ones. Stay safe and stay away from these!
