Anyone from PA have any problems getting inspected with flushmount front signals? I ordered a set that were a little big for the stock hole and had to dremel the hole a little bit. Now I can't put the stock ones back in without fabbing something. I just ordered a different set of flushmounts (triangle shaped with 11 leds). Technically modifying the stock signals (at least in PA) is technically illegal, but I see flushmounts on nearly every sportbike/super sport. Have to get inspected in September. Had I not modified the hole I could have thrown the old ones back in. Thanks...

I have Yamaha dealer or two near me, but I've heard they are stricter when it comes to mods for inspection. I do have a small shop (not a dealer) near me and am thinking of trying there first. Was just curious if anyone else from PA with flushmounts has had any problems. Jersey doesn't have inspection, right? I'd like it if we didn't, but insurance in PA is way lower so not a horrible trade-off.

FZwhite, where you at bro?I always take mine to a small shop by my house. I have never had issues with the rear reflectors, flush mounts, or non dot mirrors or anything like that. I am sure that you will be fine, just take it to the shop, I am sure it will be fine.
Ok, sounds good. I have my stock tail section and front turn signals, but can't remount the signals without fabbing something. Hopefully the shop just does a quick check and slaps a sticker on her.
That's where I took my MSF. LOL! I work not to far from there. I may call one of the two local dealers and ask about the mods for inspection.
That's the same thing I just did last week here in WV. Tell the guy what mods you have before hand and ask if its even worth your time bringing it in. Thankfully here they are not that strick, although I was kind of pissed they made me put the sticker on my front left fork. Last year I was able to put it under the seat.
Mine's on the top of the fork behind cowling. Can only see it if you know where it is.

Yes, you are correct. Nj doesn't have motorcycle inspections.
