What is one thing that you want to do on/to your 6R that you plan on doing? I guess it can be considered a goal you want to reach.

For instance: breaking 50k miles, adding a certain mod, shifting into 7th gear, running through :zombie: when they make their way from Florida, etc...

also, make it look more like a motoGP bike--graphics, windshield, tire hugger, apex clip-ons, etc. (I'm not really sure what mods a motoGP bike has besides all the sponsor labels, but I think those things make it look better)

That's sorta where I'm at. I've done everything to my 6R that I want. Now I just need the wife to be comfortable riding it. The height is fine for her, even with the seat up (my wife is 5' 7"), but she thinks its too heavy. It didn't help that she sat on my Street Triple first. Everything except 250s are heavy compared to that, ha ha.

I've already stripped off a lot of vestigial items that add weight to it (rear fender, blinkers, AIS, stock exhaust, etc.), but then I've added some things too, the heaviest of them being my Givi racks. Even with the cases removed, she still strugled to get it up to center from the kickstand. Once balanced, it wasn't too bad, but she's worried about it tipping over on her. I'm hoping once she takes the MSF course she'll be more confident in riding the 6R. Otherwise we'll end up buying a CBR250R. :rolleyes:

I think my biggest goal is to just not drop the bike by itself or with me ever again. Then also become the best (and safest) rider I can be.

Besides the obvious wish to remain safe, my biggest goal is simply to ride the everloving daylights out of the thing. Ride and ride and ride some more.

Oh, and I want a trunk, lol.

Find some nice looking mirror block off plates and / or have some made and find a set of handlebar mirrors that flow well with the fz6r's lines!

become a knowledgeable benefit to the motorcycle community and these forums, and enjoy my riding and increasing confidence in the bike.

Aside from that: Make it look really cool without being a hooligan, and as visible as possible at night (lots of decorative SOLAS tape!)
