Oil Filter Must Be Glued On. Help!!

I have several different types of oil wrenches, and trust me the one posted I have one like, didn't work crushed filter and/or would slip ([ame=http://www.amazon.com/Lisle-63600-Oil-Filter-Tool/dp/B0002SR4Q8/]Amazon.com: Lisle 63600 Oil Filter Tool: Automotive[/ame]), now after you get the factory off just about anything will work as long as you don't do Caterpillar specs (tight as you can get it).
The problem is the factory filters have such a small o-ring barely protruding above the filter housing that it takes torque to keep it from leaking. Aftermarket (automotive) filters have larger o-ring sealing areas and protrude farther about the filter housing and thus seal easier without as much force needed.
