Got a new tailbag.

Couldn't find a good tank bag.bought 2 tank bags and took them both back. crappy hold downs and the other had gay suction mounts that only last 4hrs. didnt last a minute.. gave up on tank bags

So i found this tailbag
OGIO International: Tail Bag

Lots of storage, lots of compartments, expands if u need more storage, unclip the 4 points and take the bag with you..

ignore the dangling straps. have to cut them all off still.

remove seat
remove the 4 bolts holding the grab rail
slip the 4 straps on the 4 points
install the 4 bolts
install seat

I like it a lot. Nice to have a clear and clean tank again. And fill up without having to remove anything..

I was thinking of the Cortech sport tail bag & kind of like this too.

How stable is it when riding / just to shake around ?
Do you think it can fit a 15" laptop in there ?

Could you also post a pic with the bag taken off ?

with the bag off its just the 4 clips

forgot to mention something cool. theres a built in raincover in the front of it.

unzip the front pouch and the cover pulls out and over the whole tailbag.

With it expanded will a spare helmet fit in it?

I have been looking for a nice bag since I got my bike but it is a hard decision. I think the way this one mounts on the bike is sweet.

might depend on your helmet. i can zip up half way with my helmet in there. im sure i could just leave it like that if i wanted. theres also a clip inside u could hook to your D ring on your helmet for extra safety.

you could also pull the rain cover over the whole thing. it will fit over your helmet

When the pack is not on your bike do the buckles flap in the wind and damage the paint? How do you store them?

tuck them or something. there not long.

it will always be on my bike anyways..

Thanks for the pics.. I'm super pumped, just ordered the same set up and received my goods last week. Installing and taking a 14 hr road trip over two days to Montana... Any thoughts on whether a tank bag is worth it??

Nice Ogio tail bag. Here's the one I have, holds full face helmet and zipps closed completely if that's important for you.
