Hey guys, Thestache here, will be 49yrs young in December. I do not ride a FZ6R...YET, but am a HUGE Yamaha fan.
I currently ride a cruiser, Vstar 650 Classic, and while at a local Victory demo spoke to a dealer about test riding a sport bike, not sure why, after all (incoming stereotypes) they are uncomfortable, your shoulders probably get tired, the seats are painful, and how can I ride on a gas tank. So off I went on a GSX 650F(used), similar to the FZ6R. On a road where the speed limit is 45mph, I noticed I was passing everyone, looked down was like, "OH CRAP 70mph" then got on the interstate. It was on this 20min test ride I realized all the above stereotypes are wrong. As I twisted the throttle the bike hit 80mph like it was nothing(remember I ride a cruiser
) and the wind lifted me a little off the tank, like I was riding on a cushion of air.
When I came back, I had a HUGE grin on my face, THIS is what made me start riding, the joy.
So, I will hang out here, till Feb 2015, when I WILL go pick me up a new FZ6R...I heard, "Raven is the fastest color" :Sport::Sport:
