Just bought my own bike, brand new 2013 FZ6R
18 miles on her now, all put on by me as soon as it got dropped off:D went with the white one
Gotta say, so far im loving it.
crappy cell phone pic in the dark garage at the dealer....

Nice bike

I bought a new 2012 this March and loving it also. The bike is approximately 435 lbs. and can get away from you when lining it to one side or the other. Tipped mine when checking the oil. I now use a 2X4 under the kick stand to balance it. Also install a set of slider to protect the faring. I have order a head light Modulator "Flasher" for the head light.

Bottom line is that I am learning to respect this new machine. Took a safety motorcycle class and it really tot me how much I have to learn about driving a bike.

Good luck

thanks for the welcome, she has about 35 miles total now and im starting to get the feel for her:)

New rider and trying to learn.

Gentleman,

Since I bought my new 2012 in April of 2014, I tipped the bike over from a stand still twice. First time was trying to check the oil. Second time was at a stop sign. Yes, I felt like a girlyman. :( When this bike starts tipping towards the right side, all I can say is that you better be on level ground and ready.

I installed sliders "T Rex" and yes they helped on the second tip over. Note: The T Rex sliders that were send to me are not tapered and have no red band on them. Wonder if I got a older set?

Also just installed a head light Modulator.

Please tell me what are Red Bar Ends, Red Levers?

actually i think Trex went from straight tubes to the tapered style then back to the tubes again so i believe you have the most current.

Looks like you picked it up at the right time, bet your gonna have an awesome Summer. I just got back from an all day ride, I can't believe I still get so much out of riding, the freedom and the thrills!

Id like to think so, today was really the first time since i bought the bike that i drove my car..... and that was only because i had to work until 2am...
