Do you happen to know if the Aus FZ1 has a high beam trigger? I would really like one on my bike. I could just order the OE part from an Aus bike and be set.
Every bike i have seen in aus has one so i would assume so, i will check with a mate who has one and let you know.

I agree our bikes here in the US SHOULD have flashers on them as well.

The other night I was caught in some heavy fog coming home and not being able to see very I was traveling really slow and almost rear ended by a truck because he did not see til last minute. Flashers would have really help in this situation.

Without having a FZ1 in front of me -I would safely assume they do.

Last time I test rode a FZ1N the handlebar controls were identical to my XJ6S
Or is it that you have the sitch but not wired -ala the hazard light button

but then looking at this guys bars from CA -they have the switch (yes noted that these are FZ6 bars but FZ1 controls)
