Well it's been about a month since my cousin's crash and the beginning of the emotional and mental roller coaster I rode trying to decide exactly what to do with my bike. I had never been more torn over a decision in my life. I spoke to numerous friends and family and was able to get a TON of different views and opinions.
So the final decision??
I'm keeping the bike.
Firstly, I wanted to thank everyone here who contributed their thoughts as well. It was all VERY much appreciated, and thank you for dealing with my flakyness(I like words) in the whole thing. I know(or at least feel like) I'm coming off as a bit of an attention wh*** for writing such a deep confident post and turning around and flipping the decision, but I really was confident in what I was typing at the time that I wrote that post.
Anyway, it may not be the most practical thing to do in the short term after buying my new car(which I still love and do not regret purchasing), but in the long run I'm just not ready to give the bike up. So if I sold it, I would probably have just bought another one anyway and started the cycle over again. I'm not diving right back on to the road, though. I'm going to take baby steps on the actual riding part, and will slowly make my way back out there.
So again, thank you everyone. I'm here to stay. I finally purchased my "Elite Member" status, and will be making another post about modding my 6R(Current and Future), which is something else I would've missed if I had've sold it, haha.
