By the time you're done, you'd probably spend more than it would cost to buy a completely new bike. It's not just the motor, it's everything around it. Exhaust is definitely different and I'm guessing that a whole bunch of other stuff changed as well. Might not even be able to fit it into the frame without structural mods.
I won't say it can't be done. It may even be easier than I suspect, but you're pretty much on your own...
Well, I'm sure it would be an adventure. But swapping engines on motorcycles isn't always like taking the I-4 out of an Acura and mounting it in a Civic. Car manufacturers tend to be really good about keeping the mounts similar across all cars in their line so they can offer all sorts of engine/body combinations in different geographies or sometimes with different names. With motorcycles where the engine is a stressed member of the frame, they often need to be far more unique. Even when the internals are mostly the same, you end up with some different parts. Unless you really know what you're doing and really know both engines, you're just asking for unexpected surprises.

Just get an FZ6 or FZ8. Personally, I LOVE the looks of the FZ6R. I'm coming from a naked bike and stepping up 20hp. If I didn't care about looks and/or cared more about power, FZ8 looks badass and has the power to back it up. Plus you will get the more upright ergos you bought the 6R for instead of SS ergos.

and it’s not a mother ******* cam shaft

Okay nos lol that's to hard core, ya i love the FZ6r am going to the bike junk yard today to try out different mirrors and see which fits and which looks best on my bike. Ill put up pictures if I find something worth buying. As far as power ya its a baby 600 but its honestly not to bad. Well I weigh 150 so its not to bad as far as trying to excelerate be different if i was like 180 or something cause now the hp would be fighting more to pick up speed.

I agree power is not everything and your 6R is fine for now,,,,but it will still runs rings around just about any cruiser out there.
