Well. I've decided that if Marty is still doing the exhausts. Hopefully in about 3 weeks will have enough money saved up for an exhaust package.

She sounds like a beast! Wish they'd put some clothes on her. Of they do it's my next bike.
Thanks Martin! I still love my Marthy Viper. You've done the forum and the 6R community a great service. Merry Christmas!Well friends, members... I officially sold & ship the last Marthy Exhaust today. It's been a great 3 years or so but all good things have an end. Not quite sure what the future will bring but as of right now I'm not planning on making more. I had one more gentleman that was in the hunt of getting the last one that I might help out but that's about it.
This year was rough on many level. Mostly personal but work, side jobs and exhaust is just too much for one man. All work & no play is not the way I want to live, not at 43 YO. I did my part early in my life now I want to live a bit more, that was the whole point of getting out of the racing industry full time. I might keep the website on for another few months, we'll see.
Most importantly, I want to tanks everyone that was part of the journey. Most were please with the product, few were less. I did try very hard this year to take it to the next level by adding the FZ09 and FZ07 to the fleet. Never quite picked up the way I was hoping, too much competition and not having the sell volume to justify investing money in having a proper Marthy slip-on might have been a dead end right from the start but did worth trying.
All in all I'm please with the 120 or so exhausts I built over the years. I'll be sticking around anyway, never been about exhaust but about friendship and our common interest in biking.
Cheers everyone and I wish all of you a happy holidays.
Martin
How did you make that cone adapter that we weld onto the stock pipes? I wouldnt mind fabricating that and shipping for no profit. Then people would have a muff of their own choiceWell friends, members... I officially sold & ship the last Marthy Exhaust today. It's been a great 3 years or so but all good things have an end. You're the man, Martin!Hey everyone,
I've been receiving emails about exhaust inquiries. I wasn't planning on doing exhaust anymore mostly because I need to order 20 slip-on at the time then I need to stare at them for months. So the Danmoto slip-on is out of questions. I could use the Delkevic DS-70 either Stainless Steel or Carbon Fiber. There's a $25.00 difference between SS & CF if I remember well. I comes with a DBKiller. Nice quality slip-on, that's what I use on my FZ09... great can.
If we can put a little band together, let's say 10 or so I might consider doing one batch. I have a bit of hardware left to do a little few DIY kit but I'll rather do the collector kit myself for the USA customer. I'll keep the DIY kit for people out of USA.
let's fill up the list and see how it goes. Include a pic of the DS-70 CF here on my FZ09. I will not offer the package with PCV & BOP. I could probably get some EJK fuel controller (the old juice box) at a good price. Keep in mind I won't built exhaust all year... that will probably be the only exhausts fort his year.
DIY kit SS:$325.00 CF:$350
Marthy: SS:$525.00 CF:$550.00
Price include return shipping.

I understand that some member have been planning to do their mods (exhauts or others) and I feel like I might have drop the ball of not making exhausts anymore sort of out of nowhere. So that will give them the chance to get theirs. You're the man, Martin!
Best bang for the buck. Not worth the money for a tbr IMO.
