I've been wanting to lower my fz6r and have been planning on getting the roaring toyz lowering link and kickstand (1.75" lower I think). I didn't even think about how it would affect the handlebars and riding position until just now. I don't know much about clip ons and would like to know 1. if they are necessary when lowering the fz6r 2. what size would be appropriate to maintain the same riding position. The riding position is one of the things that I love about the fz6r and I don't want to jack with it too much.

Thanks!

Just lower the front end (raise the forks in the triple tree) and you'll have the same riding position.
