You got the used one right? how much? 77mph in 1st gear? sounds like a power house. How is the wind aspects with the half fairing? i really want to try and ride one of those.
Yeah I did, and it was $5000. I really haven't noticed much of a difference with half fairing tbh, although I haven't ridden in any cold/rainy weather yet so perhaps I'll notice it more then. The bike actually feels very similar to the FZ6R, although you can certainly feel the extra hp. It just feels like you can start pulling hard from nearly any RPM, and it feels powerful (although part of that could be from going from stock exhaust on the FZ6R to TBR slip-on on the FZ1.. I love being able to hear the bike
Edit: Also for anyone else that purchases a used bike, check the tire pressure. I checked a lot of things and everything looked in order, but somehow forgot the tire pressure. Yesterday before I headed out I remembered to check, and wtf.. front tire was 18 psi (supposed to be 36 psi) and the rear was ~35 psi (supposed to be 42 psi). I'm really lucky nothing happened in the ~200 miles I rode home, and was really annoyed at myself for not checking.. and also mad at the guy that sold me that didn't inflate the tires before showing me. He knew I was planning to ride it home for 3 hours, hopefully it was just an honest mistake on his part. Either way, ultimately my fault and lesson learned. If I buy another used bike, I'm going to bring a checklist of things to check.. can't be forgetting things like that.
