check your local laws before buying and installing them, they wont pass state inspection here in va by them selves you have to have regular signals in back as well.

Saw this thread earlier and though someone just didn't search thoroughly, but yeah motodynamics is out for the FZ6R and some other Yamahas. I usually by my stuff through Amazon and nothing there either. I thought about getting one this offseason to use in addition to the short stalk LEDs that are part of my FE. At least for inspection anyways.

Not entirely true. Signals arent even required in VA....with the sequential tail you can use the control box to pretty much turn off the blinkers if you wanted to, in which case you just have to prove at inspection you know hand signals. You can debate this one alot with the local inspectors, but its safer to have the signals too. Im adding LEDs under my seat to add additional brakes and turns.
In va if you have signals they have to work, if you don have signals you new to show the inspectors you know hand signals if you have an integrate tail light that signals you also need to have regular signals on display because technically the integrated signals do not count as ate quest display of signaling by them selves, something to do with the display not being bright enough so to the brake light idk my busy is a local inspector here in prince William county and hats what I've been told
I was told here in PA that signals aren't required unless the bike came equipped with them. If you remove them or change them it's at the discretion of the inspector. My inspector liked my FE including signals, but not my flush mounts. Also said if my rear signals were any closer together he wouldn't pass it. There is a minimum of 6 inches I believe between the signals. Personally I think it would look great with the motodynamics in addition to my comp werkes FE.

Right. What I mean is if u have the integrated tail, use the control box to turn off the signals. Then its like u don't have them anyway, then, show them the hand signals. There shouldnt be any debate at that point.

Even if it is technically against your state laws some things are over looked for bikes. Aftermarket exhausts are technically illegal as far as I know in every state (says for race use only), same with puig race screens, etc, etc. Best to talk to someone you know with a bike in your area. My inspector was fine with all my mods except the flushmounts. They said visibility wasn't 100% from the front so I added additional signals visible directly from the front.
