The dirt roads are no surprise. Nor are the breakdowns. Hence my wonder and admiration. The fact they got arrested? Didn't know that. Did they leave a journal? That could be great reading.and buzz most of the roads were dirt back then! bunch of articles on them say they broke down many times, and even got arrested because women just weren't suppose to be doing things like this back then. so very glad times have changed for the better
