...the simultaneously unsettling (VERY :eek: unsettling) yet exhilarating sensation of unexpectedly scraping the sides of my boot soles when carving through a corner. :D

I have about a 1/4 inch chicken stripy remaining on my tires, and I don't feel like I'm leaning THAT much.

Guess I'm just getting more and more comfortable with riding a bike and with my improvement over the last month and a half since buying the Stormtrooper Speeder.

Years of watching AMA, WSBK, and MotoGP paying off... subconscious learning - LOL! Always learning.

Congrats. While can be kinda a good feeling leaning that much and getting rid of larger chicken strips, just keep your street riding safe. If you are scraping your boots though, are you on the balls of your feet or on the arch? Would think that you should be scraping the feelers on the pegs and not your boots.

I agree though. That would be quite the sensation feeling your boots touching down. I have scraped the pegs only 1-2x, but that in itself is very alarming and distacting when you are not used to or expecting it!

Agree with Greg on this, front of your foot should be on the peg. If your heel is on the peg then that's the problem.

You'll expect it now and possibly get used to it.

You'll want to keep your feet out of the way.

Later, you'll want to remove those peg feeler nib thingys (I know there's a word for 'em), and possibly raise the pegs.
