I get that they didn't have a permit and a bunch of skaters are very reckless. But is this the best way to respond to things? I believe both events need some sort of police escort. I believe since these events will be happening regardless of permit(because of the sheer amount of people participating), the judges and the police department should meet them in the middle and help them plan a safe event instead of either not responding until something happens or responding with this amount of force. smh everyone.
