....ok, it actually took me an hour and 12 minutes.
While in the Florence, OR dunes my clutch stopped working, but I wasn't ready to call it day...
I ended up suicide shifting for a couple more hours. I was able find neutral before I came to any stops and since I was in the sand I was able to rev it up to 3-4k and drop it into first and take off. After doing that 4 or 5 times my trans completely seized in one of the worst possible spots. It was on the very top of what's called Competition Hill, which is the tallest dune in the area.
FYI, did you know a dirt bike won't roll down hill in the sand.
Let's just say it was a lot of fun getting it back to camp. :banghead:
