How to adjust chain and rear wheel alignment

Are the chain slack specifications the same If you have +1 sprocket up on front? I think my chain might be too tight...as of this moment after installing +1 up front...

The specifications remain unchanged. The amount of actual slack will change if the sprocket size does. Then the chain must be adjusted accordingly.

Thanks! yea I think it may be too tight. Last time I checked, when I pushed the chain up, it wouldn't even hit the 1 inch mark. Would go as far up as 1 1/2 inch, and down to a little over 2 1/2 inch. Total slack of about 1.50 inches tops.. will have to adjust when I get the chance.
