How long will you stay with your FZ6R?

I'm hoping I can keep my damage free for a few years. Might have to sell it once I graduate but we'll see. I would like to see what a street triple is like but the 6R is such a good all-around bike, I don't see it parting from me easily.

You new to riding or just out of a bike atm?

Got back in after several years. Currently riding a 250 supermoto because the neighbor had one for sale at a great price (had to move back to the UK), I knew the bike and it seemed perfectly fine for a while. Actually a ton of fun in twisty roads, it's incredibly flickable and fun. But my ass hurts after about an hour and the fuel tank is good for 80-90 miles before hitting the reserve, so it's not going to take me far.

I'm looking, but no rush. Getting a big check this week, so I'm suddenly a bit more interested in doing it, but thinking I'd like to pay off the car and do a few other things first. Pay for what I've got before I add anything else. Maybe hold out through the summer and buy one cheaper in the fall. Lightly used FZ6Rs are at a premium right now.

Man I just checked out the super tenere after people here mentioning it...that bike looks great! Aesthetically its ok... Front looks ok not a big fan but performance wise its good! i'm seriously considering now between that bike and Ninja 1000.. we will see in future.

The FZ6R is everything i need in a bike, so I will keep her for about five more years. Then we'll replace her with a touring bike.

I had no plans to upgrade, till I found a 2011R6 leftover I'm gonna go look this week I think lol.
