How Did You Mount....

Ok guys recently bought a radar detector for my bike....now I'm running into the problem of where and how to mount it to the bike. Please suggest thx again

what kind did you get? When i had my radar detector for my car it had suction cups on it. I would suppose you could just put that onto the windscreen. But i have yet to mount mine to my bike so i could be completely wrong

If you are going to use the suction cup make sure it is tethered. My friend lost a brand new Garmin that way.
I use RAM mounts (see pictures) very secure, lots of options.

I use the suction cup mount and put it right above my speedo/tach. I've got a 12V outlet I'm plugging it into for now, but soon I'll hardwire it in.

I was concerned the suction cups might not hold, but I've gone over some rough/bumpy roads without any trouble. That sucker is on there tight. The only trouble is, I can't hear it unless I'm going pretty slow, so I have to rely on the flashing lights, which in bright daylight doesn't work too well. At night it's great though.

The ram mounts don't look bad was it and easy install can't really tell how they hook up in the picture.
