hesitation issues

i've notice that lately my bike will hesitate when i travel over 100mph, it doesnt stall out or die but kinda burps or has a hiccup and then goes on it merry way. it's done it while cruising in town as well doing 30mph. i was reading on the ducati forum that running 2 or 3 bottles of Techron each time your refill the gas tank. guess they call it a tuneup in a bottle. my bike has around 6k miles on it now since i got it new in march. done all the servicing and maintence when it was needed. if anyone has any ideas on the hesitation issue and how to fix it, it would be much appreciated.

they shouldnt be out of sync with only 6k miles on the bike, should they? i've only had the bike for 4 months now.

Mine went out of sync with 1010 miles on it. Food for thought!

might be a good place to start i guess. i will go to the dealership 75 miles from here and have them look at it since i got the 2yr extended warranty

now i have a question about the vac pressure. now you have them syncronized to 24 psi vac, if you increased it to 25 psi vac, would you increase your efficiency or hp?

AT OVER 100 MPH i dont think sync is a problem . it would be at small throttle openings . as a small diff in snyc there would make a diff but a full throttle openings . it would be such a small diff that it would not matter

i was thinking also that it could be just an air bubble that entered the line, say during a turn or acceleration, and possibly would have made it to the injectors. a lot like an embolizem in a person.

noticed this with the shell gas around here. the fina doesnt give me any problems. just to be sure though, i am going to check the throttle bodies vac levels and fine tune it

however it isnt just the shell gas in this town either, it did it before in another town 70 miles from here. though techron is supposed to be good for it(bike), this doesnt appear to be the case here. and as previously stated, when the throttle is wide open, vac pressure wont matter that much at 130+
