Hi @all,

just a few words to introduce myself:
I have had a FZ6 for 2 years but then had an accident (no, it was NOT my fault, but, come to think of it, if I had gone faster, the car would most certainly not have hit me from BEHIND!!! :rant and spent more than 2 weeks in hospital. As soon as the cast was off - 3 months later - I bought my new XJ6 in bright yellow (I should be VERY visible now... ) and slowly built back my confidence last year. This year I have already driven around some but I keep waiting for better weather.

That just remind me about last weekend in St-Pete, Fl. We were on the way back from the race track on our way to the hotel. As we were going up the overpass, there was a dude there waving at us signaling to move over and pass on the left. Long story short... that dude was probably going way too fast going up the overpass and never saw the young gentleman going 30 MPG max on his scooter. The scooter was half burried under the front bumper with the poor young man laydown on the ground right next to the gardrail. My friends drove by in the second mini-van about 30-45 min later and he was still immobile on the ground. If he were just wearing a helmet... he might have made it... I'm still sad just thinking about it...

Please... wear your gears at all time, you never know when shit can hit the fan!
