My name's Gaby. I joined this forum when I first bought my 2009 FZ6R last month but haven't been an forum participant. I bought it from a woman who put only 570 miles on it over a period of 5-6 years, but luckily kept it garaged. I just got the bike back from my mechanic this past weekend, who did some minor tune up and upgrades for me -- raised the seat back to stock height and installed flush mount signals on the front and fender eliminator on the back.
I got a short ride in today and am so glad to be riding again after I ruptured a disc in my back falling off a ski lift :cheer: Right before this bike, I had a 2002 Yamaha YZF600R (aka Thundercat) that I had to sell to recover some costs for treatment.
If anyone's interested in riding in the DC/VA/MD area, lmk!
