FZ8 or FZ-09 Forks on FZ6R?

I was wondering if anyone could look up if the FZ8 or FZ-09 forks would fit the steering stem on the FZ6R. I know the R6 requires some modification. I would like to find a pair of the awesome gold forks from a wrecked bike and fit them to my FZ6R.

The only forks that will work without significant mods are 41mm conventional forks. Inverted forks definitely need significant mods. Otherwise, there'd be a "FZ6R w/ Inverted Forks" forum, and it would have a lot of members.

That's what I was afraid of. I had seen the R6 swap threads and thought there might be other possibilities.

Hardly... I think if it works on FZ6, it has great chances to fit on the FZ6R...

I believe fz6 have 43mm forks.

If you swap the triple clamps also your possibility's are much greater.
Any complete front end FZ1, 8, or 9. Will work easy but you need everything!
