one of the members on this forum, Marthy, is currently making an all carbon fiber slip-on with a mid-pipe. $250 and custom built for the FZ6R. hopefully will be ready within the next few weeks. he's built several kinds of custom exhausts and does great work.im considering cutting out the catylitic converter and running a straight pipe with a slip-on. probably the Hotbodies racing megaphone slip-on pipe for an r6. do i need to have a baffle or is back pressure not something to worry about?

Im running a straight pipe. U dont need a tip from hot boddies. I went to the local auto store and bought and exhaust tip...I am no moto engineer or tyre specialist, but I would be concerned the hot exhaust blowing directly onto my rear tyre may cause some issues!?!
Hope it works out for you
Have to come to Lafayette and ride with y'all sometime.
He probably needs more fuel than Marthy uses in his maps, since its burning off as it hits the air.The EJK would be perfect, just tap a button to richen it up a little.with no back pressure, you really need to do the ais block-offs and add a pc5
Marthy sells his with a db-killer for those of us that are saving for the pc5, adds back some of the back pressure, but still not perfect and still need to block-off the ais system
Marthy is in Italy so he may not be on here much for a short while, but just check some of the other exhaust posts and I believe he has some explanations on here.
