I noticed my bike has a seal leak so I am need help know what I should do. I don't think I can do the work myself. I weigh about 250 trying to get down to 220. Anyways I was wondering what I should do for the springs. I want to put gold valves emulators on and maybe a 1.0kg spring and maybe 10 or 15w weight oil. I just wanted to get ideas from you guys to find out what I should do? And if it is possible to do it myself. I've never done work on forks before. What tools or how easy is it. I can do basic mechanic work.

First think you'll need it some type of hoist to lift the front end off the ground. I've used an engine hoist/cherry picker. Then some tools and patience.

Put your bike on a rear stand and a front triple tree stand, then pull off the forks. If you don't feel like diving into the forks (I didn't want to), you can then send them off to a suspension shop of your choosing to do the work you want done. If you can't find one locally, you can always ship the forks too.
