Fender Eliminators

Have been thinking about purchasing a fender eliminator (probably evo tech, I like that it reuses the stock turn signals).

In terms of "legal" we are supposed to have 1 rear reflector and 2 side rear reflectors. All the FE kits I have seen do not have reflectors. Has anyone made any mods or founds something to actually make the FE fully legal?

You could most likely take the stock side reflectors and put them on. I know all that comes off the stock fender. I am unsure of the rear reflector. They have the screws that have reflectors on them that you could use.

I bought some red reflective tape and put it on the sides underneath the rear part of the passenger hand grab rail.

In California all FE kits are illegal since they eliminate the fender (you have to have one). Mass may be different. Federal law states that as far as reflectors go, you need 2 reflectors L&R in front, 2 reflectors L&R in back and one back reflector. There are a variety of ways of placing the stock reflectors (since they conform to the size dictated by law) to the FE kits and each offers its own set of problems/solutions.

General consensus has been that most law enforcement ignores the FE legality as long as your not being an a** on the road.

Go out and purchase the reflectors that are used to secure your tag to your FE. It's reflective, blue or red even green, your choice. If you're worried about having something reflective that should suffice your concerns. Here's a link:
