Fender Eliminator

E-bay fender eliminator with a few tweaks .
Running OEM blinkers and license plate light .
Blinkers were modified so a screw goes from the inside of the housing (original screws will not get tight enough and will pull out of plastic), the bracket had to be modified making two tabs that would hold the license plate light in correct orientation .
Didn't do a search , hope I don't get flamed ! :D

Looks good got any other pictures?
I’m doing something similar; using stock lights I designed a simple bracket out of aluminum, should be ready by Monday. Your picture is motivating me to finish, Thanks.

Not trying to flame you YellowFZ, but just showing how many "fender eliminator" threads there are with tons of information for those trying to figure out what they want to do.

Roaddawg , not to get into a pissing match here , but being anal about Searches , well , is just that .
The posts are not on a exact same Fender Eliminator , although I may have added to the list , it is still unique and different from the rest .
Another perspective on the same thing is always good , gives people choices , ideas , isn't that what this site is about , sharing ideas and choices , if not , then it should be .
Do a "Sticky" with most common posts and pin it to the top of the page , would save on searches and maybe your nerves , you seem to get a little uptight about searches . :)

Not bad Roaddawg, simple and effective.
I seen your post before and the ones you posted.

I guess you misunderstood what I meant...I wasn't trying to be a dick (this time :)) about searching, but merely thinking that someone new may see your new thread and wonder what other ideas there are out there (Like B46). Being that there has been a lot of different FE's done on here, I was just trying ot make an easy one-stop place someone could see them all and maybe come up with their own ideas. And your right, there should be a sticky about common threads on here.

Here's my take on searching before posting new....Say your thinking, wow, I hate these stock mirrors. I wonder if anyone else has found any good ideas. I then take a minute or two and do a search. I then find numerous threads that show and discuss which ones work and which ones don't. I've just saved myself a lot of time and money. NOW, say I find some new mirrors no one has tried. I buy them, try them, and post my review onto a continuous thread. That way the information is all in the same spot and people don't continually "re-invent the wheel". So, in actuality, the griping and uptightness you think I have about searching is actually me wanting people to get ALL the information they can to help them improve the forum and their bikes instead of revolving in the same cycle, wasting their money and time, when they could be modding and riding. That's why I didn't get on you about your thread, because you had a new idea on a common topic. And, since your title was straight forward (fender eliminator), people can now come to your thread and see there are many options available to them. Now, if you would have posted about how you just found a Targa FE and asked if anyone has installed one yet....then I'd be bitching!:D

Then we post a new thread instead of searching and await replies that don't give us the answer!

Here you go more pics , sorry it took so long :

Notice the tabs that the stock license plate light attaches to , also spaced it so the license plate would slide up under it .
Roaddawg , the bracket you made is nice looking as well , good job and so are the other builds .
I search when I want answers to questions , not before I post information .

Nice FE there Yellow. I like how you reintegrated the factory stuff in there. Not my particular cup of tea, IE: not for my bike, but it is a good look. I went with an integrated LED taillight/ turn signal set, and the B2 Industries FE. Really tightened up Lorie's, my bikes name, back end. Plus the cleared out lens on the Raven Fizzer is a good look. I'll be shooting some pics on my ride through the moutains this weekend to highlight all the changes I've made from stock so if I can remember I'll post em up.
