Fender Eliminator Destroyed

Hello all,

I recently put the Targa fender eliminator on my bike and when i was riding around it got ripped off by the back wheel. Do i need to adjust the suspension to use the eliminator kit? This seems so odd that this happen.

stiffen suspension or bend plate so it's closer to parallel to the ground. I hit a curb with mine set on three and bent the shit outta my license plate.

I don't think you can really install it incorrectly, unless you put it on the front wheel...LOL

What is your rear preload set at? It sounds like you are getting too much weight transfer to the rear wheel. I have bent my rear plate as well. I weigh about 180 and have mine set at 6, but I like my suspension set up a little on the stiff side for carving my beautiful Rocky Mountains.

Yea it sounds like you just bottomed out sometime, Mine was fine until i pushed a bit harder than usual on one ride and caught a little air and the landing folded the plate over.

I'm assuming you mean that over actually ripping the FE off the bike.
