Difference between 2012 and 2015 fuel tank?

Who can tell me the difference between the two tanks. The '12 goes for $550 while the '15 goes for $375. I'm perfectly fine with the red color, and unless there is some other compatibility issue I'm going to order the '15 to replace the beat up tank on my 2012. Both tanks are the non-California emissions type.

I can't see there being any difference, these bikes haven't changed since '09, except for the rear grab bar.
