Competition Werkes Slip On Exhaust Tip?

I was poking around on ebay the other day and came across this item:

2009 Yamaha FZ6R Competition Werkes Slip On Exhaust Tip:eBay Motors (item 370288742741 end time Dec-10-09 10:54:50 PST)

It looks pretty good and for $150US it seems like a great addition to our bike. I messaged the seller asking if it was just for looks or does it actually change the sound of the bike and he said that it makes the bike alot louder with a nice deep sound. I'm wondering if anyone has actually seen one of these or currently has one installed on their bike? Definatly something worth looking into for me since I have no where near the funds to buy a TBR exhaust:(

I have seen it on websites...but i was under the impression that it was looks only (according to the websites)...you should check out the section in the how-tos about modifying your current exhaust...or cut off the cat and run a straight pipe

Obviously the seller has no idea what he's talking about. His ad even says, "This is only cosmetic. It does not enhance/change performance/sound".
