Owner's Manual is your friend!! From memory I believe that it is 2 years that you have to change it. These are things that the index in the Owner's Manual will tell you...

yes... like Chad said, check the service manual for intervals.

and don't forget to burp it two or three times... it is a sealed system, air is bad

I need to do mine this year and thinking trying the True Blue or ice or whatever the hell its called. started running it my dirtbike and kept it way cooler!!

Need to do some more research though and read the manual as I know some engines are picky about what type of coolant goes in. My audi needed some unobtainium stuff only gotten at the dealer when you bring the lil leprechaun a pot of gold!!

I think the manual reccommends something like 70/30 (70 water/30 antifreeze). Any 50/50 will serve you just fine.

But since it's only every couple years, may be worth it to ya to go with a brand like ice. In the past, i've only changed about every 3 years. Was a pain in the a$$ on my old bike though.
