Change all bulbs to LED bulbs?

Anyone consider or have changed all bulbs out in stock housings with LED bulbs to make more intense or brighter?

I know MANY have ended up with LED by swaping out all the lights with all the mods from Flushies to the smaller ones with the FE kits and even the new brake and turn signal integrated brake light.

Im wondering/looking to keeping stock brake and rears and wondering if changing out to a LED bulb would help with a more intense light or not. I dont see why it wouldnt be brighter.

Just a thought and wondered if others have thought of same.:D

As long as you get a decent multi LED bulb I don't see why it wouldn't work. The only thing I don't know is if the lower voltage of the LED will cause the bike to think there's an issue. I know it does on cars, not sure if the bikes are the same. If it does you could get an LED with a resistor and that would fix the issue.

most people change to LED to get longer life and lower power out of them.... a "stock replacement" led isn't generally going to be brighter (it may even be less lumens). You'd just have to look at what the stock numbers are (bulb sizes) and find a socket LED equivalent to see. I thought about doing this just to get a few more amps free for heated gear/accessories, but haven't pursued it a lot.

Also, for a given bulb size, an LED equivalent can be 10X or more expensive.

Yet another issue is whether the output pattern of the LEDs will work well with the stock reflectors. My philosophy is to leave the stock lighting as-is, and use LEDs for additional illumination.

I used to be a fan of LEDs but nowadays I'm not. I noticed that you can barely see them on during the daytime but it's bright at night.
