Just purchased my first bike today. Proud to own this 6000 mile 2009 FZ6R. I don't know how to ride and I'll be taking the MSF next month so I'll be in the saddle soon enough.

New rider here too. Been riding for a couple months. I rode around a parking lot and practiced low speed turns and clutch work before I took the msf course. It helped a little, but the msf course is fantastic.

Gear up and stay safe.

She is oficially ready to take on the road. Oil changed, coolant flushed, new tires and adjusted all the controls for my 6'3" frame.
