Few people tried those a little while ago. They had mix review. That was one of the reason I went out and did my own. Look around in the search... gotta be an old post. There was a group buy or something like that. They came in 22,24 and 26 inches. Thin or clear.

I have searched far and wide and can only find screens that increase from factory size. I am looking for one on the shorty side.

If you take off your windscreen there are two posts that sit up on either side of our "vibration plate" right above the cluster gauge. I want one that is that height. Basically, a screen to close in the front end and hide the indentation and cluster, but nothing else.

Anyone here know of anything? I may just have to fab myself one.

The 26" windshield was posted up here awhile back. It's pretty huge. I haven't seen this 18" tinted one mounted on the bike. It looks better than the 26" one. See this thread for the 26": http://www.600cc.org/forum/f89/cee-bailey-26-windshield-has-shipped-20119/

For $80, it's cheap enough I may give it a look.

As far as instant gratification goes, yes. Being able to put a stock screen back on should someone want to buy it, not so much.

I just need to buy some fiberglass gear and make a mold so I can do my own carbon fiber screen at half height.

I can sell you my stock one if you're interested. Then you can cut it, paint it and go back to stock if you want. PM me with an offer if you are.
